In early development

Your own little
AI assistant.

Chat in your terminal or messaging app, work with your notes, and schedule tasks. Poppet runs on your computer, saves your sessions locally, and connects to a model provider you choose.

Run from source with Bun. Connect your own model provider.

A little help, on your terms

Pick up a conversation.
Leave a task for later.

Start with a conversation. Add project context, scheduled work, or connected tools when you need them.

  1. Conversations that carry on.

Chat in your terminal and return to saved sessions. Search past conversations when you need to pick something back up.

  2. A place for your notes.

Read, search, and save notes in a directory you choose. Give Poppet a profile and explicitly saved facts to use across sessions.

  3. Context for each project.

Give related chats and tasks their own instructions, facts, and selected notes. Choose a reusable skill for work you repeat.

  4. Work you can schedule.

Run a prompt later or on a recurring schedule. Edit, pause, or snooze tasks, and monitor sources for changes to a specific value.

  5. A familiar place to chat.

Chat in Discord threads or private Telegram and WhatsApp chats. Send supported documents through Telegram, with optional local voice transcription.

  6. Tools you choose to connect.

Read public pages, enable web search, or add browser automation and tools from trusted local MCP servers. Each integration has its own settings and permissions.
